I can see "Import New Assignments" and "Update project web access" tabs on
our Outlook window, and is able to synchronize with project server to import
tasks into Outlook. I have all permissions on Project Server.
The case:
1- Click a task from Outlook task pane, open task
2- on "Task Management" tab, enter current progress, ex. 50%
3- Switch to "Time sheet" tab, press "save to project web access" key
4- Click "Save and Close" key on up left corner to quit
5- On Outlook main page, click "Update Project web access" key. A pop up
window reminds this update. Click 'OK', the information seems being sent
after confirmation.
What happend:
1- I received a notification that says this task progress updated to 49%
2- On <PWA_My Tasks> page, the <% complete> field shows progress is 0%. But
if click task to open <Assignment Details>, the <Percent Complete> is 50%
3- Open this project plan from <Project Professional>, no any updates
message and the progress of that task is 0% (I managed a rule for auto
approve). Press "Update Project Progress", it shows nothing
4- If I try to open any task from Outlook task pane again, a pop up message
alerts that "Please reload the project add-in for outlook by clicking trust
center on the tools menu. From there, click Add-Ins..."
5- After click 'OK', another Pop-Up says:
Run time error '380'
Component: UserInterface.Cls
Procedure: ResizeFormFromRes
Error Number: 380
Error source: Forms.Form.1
Error Description: Can not set Width Property. Invalide Property Value.
Enter a value greater than or equal to zero.
6- After click OK, pop-up disappeared. I then be able to open task again but
all fields are frozen that I can not enter any value.
7- I checked <Outlook-Tools-Trust Center-Add Ins-Com Add Ins>, "MS-Project
12 add-ins for Outlook" has been checked
8- I reinstall Outlook Add-Ins, but situation is the same
9- If I restart Outlook, this problem will recur
10- I checked "My Assignments" and "Details" view in <Manage Views>, all
fields are set as "Automatic fit"
Question:
1- What's wrong?
2- Is my operation procedure right?
3- How can I solve this issue?
4- What form is it mentioned?
5- Can I remove <Time sheet> tab when we open a task from Outlook?
