Outlook Assigned tasks reports dont update the original task.

When I assign a task in outlook 2003, when I receive the status reports or
updates. when i open them they dont disappears, and the original task don't
get the updates.

So i have the original task without updates and a lot of reports or update
mails in the inbox.

What can I do?
