outlook calendar sharing

i want to use calendar sharing in outlook to make appts. and have other
people in network to be able to make appts too without emailing each other
all the time. Is it possible to have everyone be able to make changes in
real time. I 've heard of sharepoint but dont know if this will do it or
not???

Do you have the staff to support an Exchange server? That's typically the
backend used in office scenarios for calendaring, etc. with Outlook.

Sharepoint supports sharing public calendars, not private ones. Exchange
