outlook closes when e-mail is closed

hi everyone,

I have a user using outlook xp who has the following problem:

If they fully open an e-mail by double clicking on it and then close
just that e-mail, Outlook closes down.

Outlook has recently started doing this...

Is this a configuration setting or is it a corrupt Outlook
installation?
