Outlook connection problem "no transport provider"

Upon trying to shift to a second PC, everything looked
fine until I received the following back when trying to
send or reply to emails:

"No transport provider was available for delivery to this
recipient."

Its a prodigy dailup account and I am receiving emails
just fine.

Its Outlook 97 running on an XP machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
