Outlook Connector crashes system in Vista Business

I am running Vista Business, Outlook 2007 and Outlook Connector 12. After
being running for a while, it appears that my entire system locks up during a
Send/Receive operation. It locks up so hard the only thing I can do is
re-start it by using the button on the CPU box. I am unable to CTRL-ALT-DEL,
move the mouse, type, etc.

When I re-boot and look in the Event Viewer, there is no indication of the
crash.

Any suggestions anyone?

There is absolutely no way for anything in Outlook to "fry your BIOS".
