Outlook crashes when sending email with external program while outlook self is not running

Hi,

I'm having a problem with Outlook. An external program is sending email
using Outlook. When Outlook is not running we get the message: Outlook has
generated several errors and will be shutdown.
If we first startup Outlook then the mail will be sent oke.
We are using Windows 2000 Professional and Office 2000 Professional and
Microsoft Exchange 2000. I have'nt found a solution yet. Is there anyone who
had the same problem and knows what is going on.
