Outlook - Deleted Items Folder

How do I change the way items are deleted in this folder, i.e. delete by date
deleted, not by date original message was received.

Items in Deleted Items don't get removed on a scheduled basis unless you
have autoarchive doing that deletion or you have the option enabled to empty
the folder when Outlook closes. Besides, Deleted Items holds trash. Why do
you care about the deletion order?
