Outlook doesn't attach files accurately.

When attaching an Excel file and sending to an AOL email
account, Outlook appears to be encoding the attachent as a
..dat file. Anyone know a fix?

Send the mail using Plain Text only. The .dat file results from the
encoding using Outlook Rich TExt Format.
