Outlook doesn't close

I have outlook 2000. Most of the time when I close it, it
shows that it is not open anymore, but I still get email
notification when I recieve email, and if I do a
Ctrl+Alt+Del it is still running. I have to 'end process'
to actually close it. Why?

Do you have any of the following:

1. PDA
2. Fax software
3. Virus scanner set to scan incoming mail.
4. Franklin Covey Plan Plus!
5. Any COM add-ins that access Outlook
6. Any other programs that depend on Outlook being open or active in the
background.

Aahhhhhh, yes, I wish I could disassociate them too. ICQ
plugged things into outlook. Anyway to separate them? It's
soooo annoying.

Milly,
what would happen if i unistalled both progams, and
installed icq first then outlook. Would ICQ then interfere
with it?
