I have clients running Microsoft Outlook 2000 and 2003 with all OS and
Office updates applied. My server is a Small Business Server running
Exchange and also has all updates applied. Some clients are experiencing
the following:
When an email arrives, they can preview the contents but when they go to
open te email, they get one of the following errors:
Can't open this item. Unknown error. OR
Can't open this item. Make sure the path is correct.
This is happening both when receiving interoffice emails as well as emails
from outside the domain. I am running Trend Micro anti-virus and anti-spam
but turned the services off and am still experiencing the problem.
This is happening frequently but does not happen all the time.
Any help you offer is really appreciated!
