I am having problems sending e-mails. Everytime I send
an e-mail, a message pops up that indicates: "Microsoft
Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close".
Then it asks if you want to send the report to Microsoft
to help them improve Outlook, but low and behold, do you
think they have any information that would help the user??
I checked the IPS connections and they all were OK, I ran
a Ping, Tracert and Telnet with no problems reported. I
also opened the e-mail account and tested it and all
systems were go including outgoing e-mails. So it all
comes down to Outlook software.
Does anyone have a solution to this? I read one solution
from Microsoft to download Q816506, a patch for Windows
Explorer, however, prior to downloading this I needed to
go back and downlad Q816506. When I go to the site that
will download these it runs an automatic search on
updates available for my systems and none of these are
matching the ones I indicated above. Where do I go from
here??
