I have two different computers that have Outlook Express
on, a Dell 8200 laptop and a HP Pavillion desktop. The
Outlook Express on the laptop works just fine, when I
start the application, it goes out automatically, signs
in to my accounts and downloads my emails.
On the HP Pavillion, it is not the same. I need to enter
my passwords evertime I initiate the application. I
enter the password information under the account>server
tab, select "remember password" but it never stays. I
can go back as soon as I login and the password field is
blank.
I'm running XP Home on both computers, I just down loaded
the newest version of Outlook Express from the Microsoft
site 6.00.2800.1106.
What can I do to make the Outlook Express on the HP
retain and use the passwords?
