outlook express to outlook

I have both on my PC but the default is Outlook Express
and I want to use Outlook instead. How can I make my
outlook the default so I can exclussively use outlook?

Go into Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Programs. Set the
default e-mail program there.

Thanx--I did everything you said and it doesn't work. I
had to change it back to write this. Do I need to shut
down and restart to activate?
