Outlook fails to import backup

I backup Outlook 2002 files in .pst format and cannot
import on another computer running the same setup. Files
are saved as data files and the outlook logo isn't
present. How do I correct?

Are they of type ".pst"? The logo not being present doesn't really mean
anything.
