Outlook forward issue

I am using Office 2003 and just recently I have lost some functionality when
I try to forward e-mail on. When I open an e-mail then select "Forward" it
does not allow me to access my address book. Is this a virus of some kind?
or is there some error in Microsoft. Please advise. Thank you.

What is "preventing" you from accessing your "Address book"?

When I open a message or even try to create a new message, and I pick on the
"To" button for recipients I get an error that basically states that the
address book cannot be open because it has been moved or deleted, but I can
actually open my contact list from within outlook and see all of my contacts
there. It is only happening when I try to create a new message or am
forwarding an existing message

Then you havent set your "Contact list" to be an "Address Book".

R-click Contacts, select Properties, Outlook address book, "Show this
folder........"

Yeah I had already checked that. I managed to get it fixed. Some how the
address book became corrupted so I had to remove it and import my back-up
book. Thanks for the info though.
