Outlook hanging on receipt of new mail.

Here is what we have:

Mail Server -
Exchange 2000
Win 2K

Terminal Server -
Outlook 2K
Win 2K with Terminal Services


When users logged in to a terminal server connection receive new mail
outlook will pause, or hang, for 30 - 60 secconds. Its only Outlook
that hangs, the connection and other programs work just fine. Its
possible that the hang occures in conjunction with the "You have new
mail" notification but I haven't tested that. I also notice that its
not totaly consistent, I have received new mail on my client that has
not hung outlook.

Any Ideas?
