Outlook is sending to slow

My Outlook 2000 has been working perfect for along time know. Lately it's
been receiving mails fine, but it takes along time for an email to sent. Can
anyone help me with this?

Oh, it's a secret (as to the type of account and what you did to "fix"
the problem). Uh huh. I'm picturing a user with a red mark on their
forehead where they slapped themself, and who decided not to share
details to prevent bruising of their ego.
