Outlook Loses Password

Hi All,

Any help is really appreciated. I am running 2 computers,
both are running windows XP home. One computer has
outlook and the other uses outlook express.

Everytime we check email, they both keep losing the
password, even though the 'remember password' box is
checked.

I've read that I have to rename the .pwl files and reboot
and it should fix the problem, however i think that might
be a fix for an earlier version of windows as I can't
find that file extension.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
