Outlook Malfunctions

I have had and used Outlook 2000 for a long time with no
problems. It is part of myOffice 2000 package. I have
downloaded all service packs, etc from Microsoft. When I
start up Outlook, it comes up in a small window. When I
move the cursor over to the window, it disappears. I
can't close down the window in any fashion. Control /
Alt /Delete doesn't shut it down either. I use Windows 98
operating system.
