Outlook not working with Vista business

K

kevinsd42

I use Outlook Web Access to access my work email from home. I have Vista
business installed. When I access the webmail everything works fine. When I
try and send an email from webmail the entire program shuts down and reboots
my Internert Explorer.

OWA is part of Exchange and not Outlook. The correct newsgroup for OWA is
exchange.clients
It also could be usefull to post the crash information which is logged to
the Event Viewer. It would greatly help to determine if your issue is with
OWA or with Internet Explorer.

Kevin,

Please have your Exchange administrator check out the following KB article.

924334 The Compose Message form stops responding after you install Internet
Explorer 7.0 and the S/MIME control on an Outlook Web Access client in
Exchange Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;924334

If this article applies to your situation, you will need to reinstall the
S/MIME contorl on your client after this change is made to the server.

Hope this helps.
