I have a user running Office 2000 on his Windows XP Laptop. He never shuts
his computer down when leaving the office, but will just close the screen lid
to put his laptop to sleep. Outlook is closed when he does this. His
Outlook is configured with an Offline folder so he can check old messages
when he takes the laptop out of the office. When he brings Windows back up
and logs in, he is receiving the following messages:
There was a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders
may not appear. Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft
Exchange computer.
Unable to update public free/busy data. Network problems are preventing
connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server Computer.
Error in background synchronization. In most cases, furtherinformation is
available in a synchronization log in the Deleted Items folder. Network
problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer.
This is occuring almost every time he brings his laptop back into the office
from being offsite. It does not appear that Outlook is running though. Any
help would be apprecieated
