Outlook Preview pane missing

I cannot open the preveiw pane in outlook, using Windows
XP. I was running a DLL file, but lost this now.

Depending on which version, you can open the preview pane in Outlook as follows:

OL2002:http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;287496
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;292031
OL2003: In Outlook 2003, you will need to Open Outlook -> Go to the "View" menu -> and select "Reading
Pane"-> and choose the reading pane position.
