outlook: reading emails

My question or problem is that when i open outlook xp it
seems to process slow. When reading an email it will
automatically jump to other emails and open them. What
should i do or change to prevent this

Disable the Messenger integration and most likely Outlook XP will open much
faster
Tools-> Options-> tab Other

Please stat your second problem more precisely. When reading a mail you do
what...? Also how do you read the e-mail? Are you using the Preview Pane or
do you open the message by doubleclicking on it?
