outlook reply mail screen has no vertical scroll bar

how do i make the vertical scroll bar show when i hit reply to an email in
outlook.

Do you have Word's vertical scroll bar enabled on the View tab of the Options
dialog box?

Yes, it is enabled in word

You might want to try renaming Word's Normal.dot template (while Word is
closed) and when Word is restarted, it will create a new Normal.dot...see if
the problem still exists.
