Outlook support for Categories and Certificates

Hello,
I have played with Outlook 98 and 2000, but I haven't gotten XP yet.
I have a database which has a couple thousand people in it.
I currently have an exporter that makes a comma delimited file in the
contacts list format using the categories column for something the people
are related to.
However, I intend to add X.509 certificates to the export but CSV does not
appear to support them, so that means is out.
So I look at the VCard format, it support pretty much everything the CSV
file does plus X.509 certificates. Except it does not work with Categories
despite it being a suggested field in the VCard standard.

Also, if you import an address book of VCards, Outlook only imports the
first one. The standard says that it should import each one.

I'm stuck with a choice, either I have a list with categories, or a whole
bunch of vcards which provides you with certificates.

It would be really nice if you could import a vcard list file with
certificates.

Less important but also useful would be the ability to export the same.

Are there any tools that do this now?
Any plans to support these features if they are not in OutlookXP?
