Outlook type Library not available as a reference

I am using MIcrosoft Office Word 2003 SP1.

I am trying to use code contributed by Astrid Zeelenberg in the article "How
to send an email from Word using VBA."

The article says I need to set a reference to the Outlook type library under
Tools-References.

I can not find a reference to Outlook type library.

Is this something I need to install seperately? If so, could someone please
tell me what I need to do to have access to this reference.
