I went to the windowsupdate.com website last night and had
it scan for updates. It found many and I
clicked "install" and now my Outlook 2002 SP-2 does not
work!
When I click "send/receive" - it instantly gives me the
error "unknown error 0x80040154". When I click the TEST
ACCOUNT button, it checks of "establish a network
connection", but immediately puts "CANCEL" next to
the "find outgoing" and "find incoming" mail server
messages.
I searched the microsoft support web site and Google and
didn't come up with a solution. I tried the "repair"
option from my Office CD and re-installed Outlook and
nothing works. Can anybody help?
And thank you to Microsoft for "updating" my system!
