Outlook Web access from Mac

I was wondering whether any body else has the same password issue I do
when trying to use outlook web access. I have used it successfully,
and still do, from Windows based machines however any time I use a mac
it doesn't work. I am able to get to the owa page which looks as
normal, then I enter my login details and every time (from more than
one mac from more than one browser ((Safar and Camino))) I get the
same error returned. An error saying that my password is incorrect
and I can't login. However I jump straight on a PC and it logs in
fine. I was just wondering how I would get around this, does anyone
else have this problem and know of a solution.

Many thanks,
NSF

I have not experienced this: I suspect a character set issue. Some things
you might try:

1) Try FireFox. If it's bad in FireFox, you can be fairly sure it's not
browser-related.

2) Change your password so that it contains ONLY alphabetic character (a -
z, A-Z). No spaces or other "funny" characters. The alphabetic characters
have the same codes regardless of the character set in use.

3) Check your Mac's keychain. If the password has been stored there,
delete the entry.

4) Create a new user ID on your Mac, and try from there.

I do not know whether any of these things will fix the problem, but they
will produce "different" results which will give you a chance of diagnosing
just what the problem is.

Cheers

Also try appending your Windows DOMAIN name to your user ID. It should
look something like:

DOMAIN\userName

Hope this helps! bill

I use Firefox, but with no problems.
