Outlook will not mail merge.

Help! Is there a person at Microsoft that can help me?
I have office xp and I can not get outlook or office xp
to mail merge. I have worked on this for days. The
problem started when I mail merged some labels. Now, it
will pull up the document but will not complete the
merged. I have called two computer stores and they told
me to reinstall it. But it still does the same thing and
will not merge. Should I give up on you to? Can you
help me? I am so frustrated!!! John

What exactly happens? Error messages? What steps are you taking to perform
the merge, exactly?

Seems like this is a common problem. I having the same
problem. Hope we can find a solution.

I'm using Mail Merge in Outlook 2003, following the
directions, get to the Word. It doesn't automatically
open the data source. After I hit set-up, then try to
open data source I get a could not find schdmapi.dll. I
close Word 2003 I get a could not open data source error
message waiting for me in Outlook. I've tried utilizing
the support template only help that found me was the
startup folder add-ins do not exist.
Had to utilize husbands Windows XP to do Mail Merge with
my data .pst file.

What's your take on it?

are word and outlook the same version? you can't do mail merges with outlook
2003 and word2002 for example.

is outlook set as your default mail client?
