Outlook won't allow me to use Word. Says: Unspecified error!

When set to use Word and an Editor, Outlook won't allow me to send the
message. It says: "Unspecified error!" I tried re-installing Outlook and
Microsoft Office, but it didn't help. It has been upgraded to the latest
updates.

It makes Outlook half unusable.

Why are you installing both Outlook and Office? Outlook is a component
of Office. Looks like you are mixing different versions of Outlook and
Word. The versions for those products MUST be the same.

Did you try the Detect and Repair under the Help menu?

What happens when you do NOT configure Outlook to load Word to do the
e-mail composing (i.e., use Outlook's own editor)?
