outlook wo't open

My outlook suddenly won't open - even in safe mode after
the prompt option and even after running detect and
repair. I also uninstalled office (XP) and reinstalled
and loaded all the updates from Microsoft. Same thing -
it won't open. It gets as far as starting the tool bar
and just stops. Anyone with an idea I could try would be
appreciated.

Same thing here, I have all the latest SP and updates as
well. Event Viewer shows Source: Microsoft Office 10,
Category: None, and Event: 1000, "No further information
available on this fault" I've been running Norton
Internet Security and have had no problems for over a
year, no new software to speak of lately - just quit
working.
