Outlook XP and Hyperlinks

I am running Windows XP with Outlook XP (2002) When I receive an email with
a hyperlink I can not lauch the hyperlink-nothing happens when I click on
it. But if I retrieve the email thru my hotmail account the hyperlink works
fine. Someone said that was a result of a patch that MS released a while
back. Any suggestions??
