outlook xp keeps asking pass

i have windows xp pro and using office xp. when i tried
to check my emails from outlook its always keeps me
asking my pop3 mail password. it wont save my password. i
tried everything even looked support.microsoft.com and
did everything it says (regedit ...vs) but couldnt fix it.
what can i do? its very anoying to enter pass every time.
please help me...
(i also update my office xp. sp1 , sp2 and other all
crithical updates)
