outlook xp login dialog box not keeping info after XP SP2 was installed

We have a group of users, running Office XP and Windows XP Pro. They use
Outlook XP, but they do not log on to their own e-mail account. Rather,
they log on to a common account (DM Customer Service), and they use "None"
for the login network security option, rather than "NT Password
Authentication".

When the operating system was Windows XP SP1, the Outlook login dialog box
would hold the previously-entered values for login name and domain name -
they would re-enter only the password.

For workstations that run Windows XP SP2, it is necessary to re-enter the
login name, password, and domain to this login dialog box. It seems that
after SP2, this dialog won't store the previously-entered values for login
name & domain.

The question is - is there a way to make the dialog retain these values,
like it did before SP2 was installed?

The issue is with the Office XP or 2003 service pack. More info here
