Outlook XP

I recently installed a new Windows drive with XP Pro (I was
using Home before.) I save three outlook files:
outlook.pst, archive.pst, and a settings files (i.e.
settingsMY.OUTGOING.ADDRESS00000010). I tried to copy them
so I could have all my stuff from before, but an error kept
popping up that said to make sure the outlook.pst was not
read only (it wasn't, or at least not marked so) and that I
do not have "rights" to do the action. Can anyone tell me
whether or not I can use these three files to get my old
emails, address book, folders, et cetera? Thanks. Oh
yeah, and how, if possible?
