keeps saying "Archive Folders not closed properly": Win 98SE; 256Mb RAM
(admittedly with shared graphics): Outlook also hangs quite often.

Help me get my girlfriend out of trouble with this, please !

Sorry - your lack of specificity will not help either you or your
girlfriend.

What are you trying to do when this happens? What is the patch level of
Office/Outlook? When did the error start? What did you install/uninstall
just prior to it starting?

After furious head scratching, pipdev asked:

up to date as of 4 weeks ago

When did the error start?

several weeks back

What did you install/uninstall

absolutely nothing
just prior to it starting?
