You probably could with FP, but it would be easier to change
your calendar and resave it. Something else to consider
seeings this is for intranet is the use of shared caledars.
If you are using Exchange you can have public calendars that
would be viewable by whomever you wanted to. You can also
send meeting requests over outlook-exchange and the items
would go onto the individuals calendar.
