OutlookXP Security Level

hi,

how do i disable outlookXP from receiving and sending
attachments with .bat and .exe extensions? I'm using winXP
w/sp1 and mail is going through exchange 2000.

Out of the box, Outlook 2002 (XP) will not allow access to either .bat or
..exe attachments. You can send an exe or bat attachment with OL2002 but the
user is warned before the message is sent. However, if they send it to one
of the other users in your Exchange environment the recipient will not be
able to get access to the attachment (if they too are running OL2002 with
default settings).

Are you seeing different behavior with your clients?
