Overview of unsubmittes Tasks

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to create a view or SQL Reporting Report that gives the PM's an overview of unsubmitted tasks. We currently have a situation where all Timsheets hours are auto booked to the MyTasks of the resource but the resource still has to do the Submit on the tasks manually (we plan to auto update the tasks in the near future) in order to present them to the Project Manager. I'm curious if there is a field that indicates wether a task is pending a submit from the resource.

For 2003, yes, not a huge deal, but a little wierdness related to
Project Server's version of compression.

For 2007, yes, but a big deal. The task changes is stored in the SQL
database (published) as binary objects. It takes a fair bit of reverse
engineering to figure these out, and then is liable to break if
Microsoft changes something. There are a couple of threads in this
group on the topic. My company completed some of this reverse
engineering, but we haven't yet tested with SP1, and we haven't yet
packaged our deserialization code.

Hi James,

It's been a while and I still haven't found a good solution for reporting
the pending MyTasks of the resources. Do you have some news on this topic
yet? Is there something available I can experience with? Should the EPM
webservice be able to report such information?

Also another intersting issue I experienced with the reporting database: I
extended the Timesheet reports that come with the EPM reporting package and I
noticed that surrogate information is not available in the reportig database,
the joins that have been set up in these reports thus skip these resources
and they will not appear in the report for the specific period. Is this a
know 'feature'?
