page file usage beyond 90% when opening outlook..can this be due to a fragmented

hard drive?
I've been trying to resolve this ; the system resources go
sky high when I open outlook (this is for a friend on
their machine) I've scanned for spyware; viruses. I've run
a repair. I reverted to a previous installed, recovery
profile and back, because that didn't work. I installed a
new instance w/ a new user acct.. Outlook ran fine.
Another posting board alluded to the idea that I should
run defrag.. I'm doing that now.. It was a fragmented hard
drive. Any thoughts?

what is this. i wonder..but I'm creating a new user acct.
and moving things over to that acct.
