page format lost with 2007

We upgraded to Office 2007 at my company just this past week. I was
frustrated to find that the format of documents (programs, brochures,
invitations, etc.) I had in Publisher 2003 does not always translate into
2007.

For example, I have a 1/2 page program set up to print two per 8 1/2x11
sheet: when I opened this with Publisher 2007, it was set to print a single
full page program per sheet. In a time crunch, I gave up and printed the way
it had opened. I have since gotten it switched back over to 1/2 page, by
re-selecting landscape layout and multiple copies per page. Easy enough to
fix, but still an annoyance.

The format seems to translate for other different-sized documents I had
created in Publisher 2003. However, I have not tested all of these w/
printing and such. Any thoughts as to why this particular 1/2 format gets
reset to full page with Publisher 2007?

Thanks!!

The page setup is not easy in 2007; especially as you have discovered, old
documents do not translate well. Many times when you are ready to print you will
have to reset the print instructions. This has been reported and hopefully it
will be fixed in a future service pack.

Thank you for letting me know, Mary. Glad to know that I'm not just stupid
or crazy :^) And yes, I had noticed that I had to keep resetting my print
margins and such. Fixable, but frustrating. Thanks!

It seems that this problem can be found when opening a publisher 2003
document in publisher 2003 on another computer. The margins moves around and
it is a pain in the neck to fix it. Any workarounds?
