Page Limit

I was building a web site in Publisher. I was on page 66 and when I added page 67 it pulled page 3 inserted it as page 67.
Is there a limit to the number of pages in Publisher or is this a error. I tried this twice to test

It is foolish to build a website with Publisher over 10 pages.

There is no known case of your issue or a technical reason how it could
have.

Suggest you upgrade to a full blown web package.
