Page Numbers - opposite pages

I'm using Publisher to create booklets. The first 5 pages will be the same
in each booklet, but the other 10-15 will be different depending on the
location the booklet is going to. I'm doing a mail merge for the text. My
struggle is figuring out how to get the page numbers on the opposite side of
the page -- When you open the booklet, I want page number "2" to be on the
left page, bottom left corner and page number "3" to be on the right page,
bottom right corner. How can I get this to happen?

Hello mlw-

Are you familiar with Master Pages? Go to View>Master Page and make sure the
display is a 2-page spread (if not click the appropriate button on the Master
Page toolbar). Then go to Insert>Page Numbers, choose Bottom of Page (Footer)
for Position, Outside for Alignment, and remove the check for 'Show page
number on first page' if desired.

When you return to Publication Pages view you should have what you want.
