"Paper Size Error" - Size 10 envelopes

I have a new HP Deskjet 6540 color printer. I have XP. I am able to print
everything out of Word 2003 that I want, except envelopes. I have tried
printing a single envelope and also a stack of envelopes. I have used the
Envelopes and Labels option under Tools, but no matter what I do, I get an
error when I try to print envelopes. The error is: "Paper Size Error. The
paper size selected in your software is different than the size of th epaper
in the paper tray". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer driver, I
have installed Office SP2, nothing works. The default setting is Upper Tray
in Word. I have tried Automatic, I have tried Upper Tray first, then Lower
tray. I have the optional extra paper tray so I actually have the manual tray
on top to feed envelopes, Tray 1 for envelopes or paper, and Tray 2 for
envelopes or paper. I do not see a Manual tray setting anywhere. I have
looked at Microsoft's website and done Google searches; I cannot find what
specific setting needs to be changed to make this work. Your assistance is
appreciated.
