Does anybody in this forum own a brother HL 2140 monochrome laser printer.
If so please help. When I try to print envelopes (no matter what type) from
the main tray (tray 1) I do fine; but when I try to do a mass mailing (on a
small scale) using word 2007 I get an solid error red light that tells me to
use the manual feed. As you may well imagine trying to hand feed 200
envelopes is going to get pretty dicey real quick. As an interesting aside
when I try to do the same mass mailing using stamps.com software I run into
no problem whatsoever. Is there some kind of software interface problem
between brother and microsoft or am I missing something. Hope you can help
since my word program is a lot more flexible than my stamps.com program so I
would like to be able to print envelopes as well as labels (which by the way
gets the same error message to load manually). What a pain. Anyway thanks
for any and all advice.
