First of all, sorry if the terms i will use are not perfect: i'm
italian and use word in italian language, but i'll try and make you
understand anyway.
I often use Word to format some writings using criteria defined in a
"model file" with paragraph styles in it. It often happens that, as i
select a paragraph and apply a style over it, the style also
"overwrites" any existing italic/bold formats, which of course is not
desireable. Reading the online help, i've found that this behaviour
"may occurr sometimes"... the provided solution is to apply text
formats AFTER paragraph style :-(
I can't believe there is no solution to this (in my opinion) severe
bug, also considering the fact that i've tried Openoffice - importing
a ms word file with styles - and style application works just as it
should... flawlessly :-|
Any clue? Thanks a lot in advance
P.S: tried this in Word 2000-2002
