Partial Transparency

Hi,

Wondering if you guys can assist me on this one.

I am wondering if there is way that I can have a autoshape with a fill
colour to have a partial transparency.

What I am trying to achieve is I have a background picture which I
wish to put a flash across the top lefthand corner. The fill colour
for the flash will be a light grey, but is there a way that the image
I have placed this flash onot can still appear through the staps fill
colour. I can see in Publisher 2003 a Partial transparency scroll bar,
but it is not activated, how do you go about this?

Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me on this
problem.

Put your picture on the Master Page and your autoshape on the publication page.
Select the autoshape, click fill, more fill colors, standard tab, the transparency
slide should be active.
