Password access using daabase

I have a protected page that I email members of a database a password to
access every month. I would like to use the Access database of 100 members
that consists of a name, club membership number and an email address. I would
like to use the membership number as a password access so that I do not have
to email the monthly password for the members to access the protected
download page. Could anyone point me to information on how to do this. I
would like to use ASP or ASP.net. Thanks for your help.

Under ASP it depends on your host support of Cdont or CDOSYS
If you Google either of those you will get plenty of examples
