password dialog box

I have outlook 2000 installed with an exchange server.
However i have email from a pop3 server. Whenever I go to
check email the password dialog box appears with my user
name and password already entered. I hit ok and recieve my
email. If i reenter the password on the server tab of the
properties page it stops for a shot time. Is there any
fix for this.
